The Arizona Department of Water Resources offers a list of Low Water Use / Drought Tolerant Plants. This is a great resource if you're considering replacing or adding plants to your yard. Parks & Sons (waste management provider) will inspect a trash can lid upon request to determine if the lid can be fixed or needs to be replaced. Requests for inspection can take 7-10 days; please call their office at 623-974-4791. Be prepared to give specifics about the problem (large lid, small lid, hinge, etc.). Lid replacement cost is the responsibility of the homeowner; new lids are available from the sources listed below. Cans and liners are the responsibility of the homeowner.

If you put down a pre-emergent in October and January, you should have minimal problem with weeds. If you did not, make sure you receive regular visits by your landscaper to remove weeds. This is especially critical during the summer months when many homeowners leave the community during the hot summer.
