Renting a Home in The Grand

Renting at The Grand is a great way to experience our active adult lifestyle before making a home purchase. Please note the following policies when it comes to homes for rent in Surprise AZ, in The Grand:

Rentals in The Grand must be for a minimum of 30 days.
At least one occupant must be age 45 or over.
While The Grand Community Association sets rental policies, rentals are managed by homeowners, not the Association.
To obtain a rental card, renters must provide a copy of their lease agreement and a valid driver’s license to the Membership Office, as well as submit the rental form below along with payment.

Rental Cards

While obtaining a rental card is not a requirement of renters at The Grand, it is encouraged, especially if you want to take advantage of the community’s many amenities.

Some of the amenities that do require a rental card to access include the Adobe & Cimarron Fitness Centers, preferred pricing and tee times at our four golf courses and joining clubs & activities.

The cost noted below is per person with a maximum of two renters at this price. Any additional renters in the home would pay ½ of the annual assessment for their membership. For rent homes in Surprise, payment is credit card only.

1-3 Month Lease	$300 per card
4-6 Month Lease	$400 per card
7-12 Month Lease If lease is more than one year, Renter Card(s) will expire in one year, and Renter(s) must pay the current rental fee to renew each one-year period.	$600 per card

Additionally, renters seeking to obtain a renter card need to provide a copy of the lease to the Membership Office and complete the rental form.

It is the intent of the association to provide the safest possible recreation program for its members and guests, and we ask that you conduct yourself in a safe and healthful manner. All participation in recreational programs is based on the premise that participation is purely voluntary. Since participation in virtually all recreation and craft activities involves the assumption of some personal or physical risk, program participation by a member or guest constitutes acknowledgment, assumption and acceptance of that risk. Participants assume liability for any personal or physical injury and/or risk incurred. (CC&R 4.6)

Sun City Grand accepts Visa, MC, Discover, Amex. Membership cards can be paid for in-person at the Membership Office in the Palm Center, 19726 N. Remington Drive, Surprise, AZ 85374, open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
